Mexican "intellectuals" will file Hague complaint against "war criminal" Calderón

In The Hague, Netherlands there is a special tribunal called the International Criminal Court. You've read about it from time to time. In recent years many of the defendants hauled before it have been former Slavic political and military leaders, arrested for butchery committed during the Balkan Wars of the 1990s. Those cases invariably involved mass executions (and rapes) of civilians, ordered by middle aged nobodies with long surnames (spelled primarily with consonants).

Today comes news that 20,000 Mexican "intellectuals" and "human rights activists" are going to file a criminal complaint with the same International Court, asking that president Felipe Calderón (and other government functionaries) be indicted. So you can see for yourself how a fool reasons, here's the English translation of key portions of the document:

"Calderon initiated a war against drug trafficking on December 11, 2006; as a result, Mexico is in a state of emergency and has been afflicted by the most severe humanitarian crisis in recent memory, leaving more than 50,000 dead, 230,000 displaced, 10,000 disappeared and 1,300 children murdered.

"(By reason of the foregoing), there are constant human rights violations of civilians, particularly among the most vulnerable, such as women and migrants."

My questions for these self-styled Mexican "intellectuals:" Where is your indictment against Cartel del Golfo? Where is your indictment against Cartel Sinaloa? Where is your indictment against Familia Michoacana? Where is your indictment against Los Zetas? Where is your indictment against Los Matazetas? Where is your indictment of the political leaders responsible for the murders of hundreds of students and others on October 2, 1968 -- a case which is still being covered up, 43 years later? Where is your indictment against one of Mexico's most powerful political parties, which ruled the country with an iron fist for 70 years, often in bed with criminal thugs who cared nothing for "human rights?"
