The dollar has been sliding this week, and today it fell below 13 pesos for the fist time in many days. A dollar returned as low as 12.85 pesos in some Mexican banks, and could generally be bought for under 13.5 pesos. At the beginning of the week a dollar cost over 14 pesos, and could be sold for 13.5+ pesos.
Look for further market fluctuations as Greece continues its economic meltdown, and European banks and financial ministers desperately try to rig for heavy weather in the face of mounting sovereign debt issues all over the Continent. More on the latter story soon.
